I crave challenges, cherish autonomy, enjoy being able to speak my mind, love exploring new ideas, and always learn from mistakes. I'm a software developer at Titansoft Pte Ltd, aka a Titaner!

Mostly at our Headquarters based in very, very sunny Singapore. Sometimes, I'll be at Taipei or Taichung, our branch offices in Taiwan! #OpenWorkspace
I build tailormade B2B software for corporate use, such as System Performance Monitoring Centers, Project Management Systems, and Subscriber Accounting Systems using HTML, SQL, Microsoft.NET, C#, JavaScript, Modern Front End Framework (react.j, vue.js), Test Automation Framework (Cucumber, SpecFlow), and Automated Infrastructure Management (chef, ansible, docker).
A typical day starts at 11am for my team’s daily stand up (because flexible hours!) And working in a #ScrumTeam, we start the week on Mondays with Sprint Planning to fill our backlog with tasks for the week’s sprint.
Have lunch at the “Playground” enjoying good food and great conversations, followed by some exercise to aid in digestion! Then it’s back to work clearing backlog, fine tuning new features, making tweaks to code and getting caught up in team discussions. #SelfOrganisingTeams
The day would end with a T.Fit class, game night on Fridays, or staying back to wrap up a problem. Sometimes I’ll attend a technical meetup in the evenings. #NeverStopImproving

#1 #NeverStopImproving There’s regular feedback collection, retrospective meetings to identify areas for improvement and plenty of on job and on site trainings for me to learn new ways of working, so no more time spent doing the same tasks over and over again. Also, maybe it is the Agile mindset at work, but making mistakes is part of learning to do better next time!

#2 Agile mindset. It is simply to Inspect and Adapt (I&A), and constantly collect feedback to enable continual improvement in upcoming iterations. Basically to improve in small increments or, the Kaizen way of self-improvement based on the idea that small, ongoing positive changes can reap major improvements. An Agile Mindset no just in software development, but or HR policies and business strategies #KaiZen Just be 1% better every day for a year and you'll end up 37 times better by the time you're done.

#3 #SelfOrganising Team Working in a self-organising team, I get to take ownership of my work, and have a say in decision making and working agreements. My work is not just "work", but something which reflects my ability as a software developer. I don't know if that is the same for everyone else, but it gives me something to take pride in. Bonus: Free flow beer, pantry snacks and ice cream! And fresh fruits weekly!
